100% of the donations and adoption fees we receive go to saving and rehoming our dogs. No one at Home At Last Dog Rescue receives a salary nor any other compensation.
Home At Last Dog Rescue is based in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and is a non-profit, charitable 100% volunteer organization committed to saving stray or abandoned dogs and those who need a new home.
We are not funded by any government agency and rely solely on the generosity, kindness and commitment of dog lovers.
We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are cared for in temporary loving foster homes until they find a suitable and caring forever home, giving them a second chance for the best possible life.
Millions of dogs are destroyed every year for want of a home. Yet for every unwanted dog that is destroyed, many more are being bred.
It is our mission to provide an alternative to shopping for dogs at puppy mills, pet stores and breeders.
